XDM Quote® provides a powerful Formula language for creating and executing complex pricing formulas and algorithms. The Formula editing environment is completely integrated in the solution platform and provides powerful mathematical and functional operators to support the coding and execution of complex market-index and time series based Formulas.

Formulas can be created for pure price and market trend analysis; but thanks to its complete integration with other modules such as XDM Curve®, XDM Contract Management® and XDM Settlement®, formulas may also be officially associated to commodity contracts (both physical and financial) and can be seamlessly evaluated within the contract evaluation processes in the same fashion as other price types.

Simple and complex Scenario-based Analysis may be executed within XDM Quote®. Scenario Management functionalities provide the tools for loading, categorizing, updating and versioning market prices, fuel actuals and forecasted values. Quote Formulas can be executed against multiple market scenarios in order to evaluate what-ifs and trends; this provides great support in the market analysis activities and trading decision support.

With XDM Quote®, Energeya provides a library of readily available standard market Formulas (mainly Gas and Commodity-based), that can be leveraged either as out-of-the-box or adapted to the business unit's requirements through the Formula Editor's functionalities.
