XDM Suite® is Energeya's platform for the Energy Business. XDM's modules provide straight-through implementation of an energy company's major business processes, with a completely innovative application and user-oriented approach.

XDM's original design was driven by four major concepts:

• Data is central. XDM starts from the ground up, by tackling the one of the major issues in today's energy business: centrality of business data. In many companies, key business data is often spread out in different systems (in some cases on single user desktop pc's...) and sharing of this data among different business units is inefficient, if not impossible. XDM's first goal is to provide a central repository in which energy business data can be validated, elaborated and stored through a strict and official set of business rules.
• High data volumes. But centralization of data must cope with the high volumes of information which are typical of the business: time series data may be defined with different granularities (from 15 minute-intervals to monthly values) and can often span several months or years worth of values. XDM's time series data model and management tools provide the high performance required to rapidly access such large amounts of data, providing companies with the true solution for building an enterprise-level business infrastructure.
• User-driven interactions. XDM breaks the standard application user interface design, by providing a new concept, in which each user must have maximum flexibility in choosing the accessibility and layout of the tools and functions that are most commonly used. XDM's user interface is not caged in strict and complex multi-level navigation menus, but allows each user to decide how to lay out screens, even on multiple windows.
• Ease of integration. XDM's architecture and technologies allow companies to easily embed the required modules and functionalities into their existing software infrastructure. By leveraging standard market technologies such as Web Services, JMS, XML , integration efforts easily contribute in making XDM a key part of the company's strategic software and business infrastructure.
