The Gas Area of ENEL Trade is one of the largest shippers in Italy, supplying gas to most of ENEL power plants and to ENEL Energia final clients.
Its position within the ENEL group is core, since the ability to source gas at competitive prices - as well as efficiently manage national and international logistics to minimize transportation and storage costs - is crucial to ensure competitive power generation and margins in gas sales for its internal counterparties.

 

The Gas Area of ENEL Trade had to automate the business processes of the three core divisions of the company: sales division, backoffice division and logistics division.
After an intensive analysis project, which included

• complete revision and redesign of business processes
• gathering of functional requirements

Energeya was asked to provide a comprehensive and integrated solution that could support the three divisions.
