GasTerra signs up for XDM Platform from Energeya

Energeya is welcoming GasTerra from the Netherlands on the XDM platform. The recently signed contract has been the last step in formalizing the partnership which already started in July 2011 when GasTerra selected the XDM Suite® for the business domains: Planning, Pricing, Risk, Optimization, Forecasting, Dispatching & Balancing.
Johan Stäbler, CIO GasTerra, explains why GasTerra selected the XDM platform: “We believe that using the XDM package enables GasTerra to build and integrate many analytical business functions such as pricing, risk management and optimization of GasTerra’s portfolio in an open source software environment. XDM offers GasTerra flexibility for using interactive analytical models and at the same time XDM supports high performance transaction processing.”

Who do you think of when someone says “CTRM”?

CommodityPoint has wrapped up their 2011-2012 CTRM Vendor Perception Study which they are performing every 2 to 3 years.
One of the areas that they tested was the market's familiarity and awareness of those vendors. This was done by asking the respondents to name all the vendors that they know of that provide CTRM software, without utilizing any aides—relying solely on their memory.
The results, when compared with similar data from the 2009 survey do provide a good sense of which companies have been able to develop a solid market presence over time and those that are emerging or seeing increasing awareness in the market. Energeya is the new entree on this list which is again another proof of the enlargement of our footprint.

9 Enthusiastic GasTerra cyclists and 4 GasTerra coaches will participate to the Tour for Life, an initiative from Médecins Sans Frontières MSF (Doctors Without Borders). The team has to collect at least 15,000 euros in sponsorship funding, a goal which has already been achieved! The team will bike eight tough stages over many mountain passes between Italy and the Netherlands. Energeya wishes the GasTerra team all the best in preparing for this challenge!
